Xbox Games: Xbox 360, New Games, Online Multiplayer Games, Xbox Game Reviews And Cheat Codes

In the battle for global supremacy within the high definition video game console market, the Xbox 360 may be edging into the lead. There are already countless Xbox games on the market, many of which may be played on the competition's consoles as well. However, one of the most anticipated Xbox games will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 on September 23rd 2007, the release date of Halo 3.
On top of that, gamers are anxiously anticipating the lineup of new games announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Xbox and makers of Xbox games will be well positioned going into this year's holiday shopping season.
There are very few serious gamers unaware of the upcoming release of Halo 3, one of the new games exclusively for the Xbox console. Time magazine's September 10th cover touts Halo 3 as, "The Thinking Gamer's Shoot-Em'-Up." The excitement behind the release is justified, perhaps, because of the game's extraordinary level of detail. However, the marketing blitz by the manufacturers of Xbox and Bungie, Halo 3's creators, has done much to bolster already high expectations. Aside from television, soft drink and NASCAR marketing for Halo 3, there is now a specially designed Xbox console dedicated to the game.
The special edition Xbox console is green with gold trim and comes with a matching wireless controller, 20GB hard drive, and a headset for online multiplayer games. The special edition Xbox will retail for around $400. There are also special edition wireless game controllers featuring the image of the Halo trilogy's Master Chief. The enhanced hard drive is particularly useful for playing older Xbox games that do not work on the newer Xbox 360 platform. Also, for anyone who desires to play online multiplayer games, Halo 3 or other Xbox games, select retailers are offering free introductory access to the Xbox LIVE network with the purchase of the game.
Though Halo 3 is receiving top billing, there are many more Xbox games due to release before the holidays. The new Xbox games announce at the Tokyo Game Show are too numerous to name, but a few are worthy of singling out. Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Project Gotham Racing 4, and Viva Piñata: Party Animals are all new Xbox games that are scheduled for holiday release. Also, all of the above mentioned are online multiplayer games.
New Xbox games can be expensive. The gamer that cannot afford to purchase and evaluate all of the new Xbox games; he or she should wait until after the holidays to buy. This will allow time for gamers to offer their assessments online. Xbox game reviews are all over the web. Gamespot.com is among countless other websites that offer Xbox game reviews. Waiting will not only allow a thrifty gamer to be more selective in their purchase of new Xbox games, but the additional time will provide ample opportunity for gamers to discover and post their cheat codes.
